Checkout style
Make checkout, the thank-you page and customer accounts look like the rest of your store: your colours, your corners, your spacing.
How it works
Open Style in the app and change what you like. A preview shows it as you go. When you save, Shopify applies it to your checkout.
What you can change
- Colours for the page, the order summary, the header and the footer.
- Buttons and text fields: their colours, corners and padding.
- Corners and text size across every page.
- Header and footer: alignment, dividers, padding and logo size.
- One look for every page, or separate settings for checkout, the sign-in page and customer accounts.
Good for
- Matching checkout to your store's colours and buttons
- Rounder or sharper corners to fit your brand
- A header and logo that look like your storefront
Undo anything
Every change is kept in an edit history, including changes made in Shopify's own checkout editor. Restore any earlier version in one click.
Try changes safely
Don't want buyers to see your changes while you work? Duplicate your checkout's style in Shopify (the app has a button for it), change the copy here, preview it in Shopify, and publish it when you're happy.
Where it shows
| Page | Plan |
|---|---|
| Checkout and thank-you page | Shopify Plus |
| Customer account pages | Shopify Plus |
| Sign-in page | Shopify Plus |
Every plan except Shopify Starter on the thank-you and customer account pages. Customer account pages also need Shopify's current customer accounts.
Good to know
- Shopify only lets apps change checkout styling on Shopify Plus stores. On any plan you can still style checkout yourself in Shopify's checkout editor, under Settings › Checkout.
- Fonts are shown but can only be changed in Shopify's checkout editor. Shopify doesn't let apps list a store's fonts.
- The preview is close, not exact. Check the real thing in Shopify's checkout editor before you publish.
- The staff account you use needs the Manage checkout settings permission. Store owners have it. If Style is locked on a Plus store, this is usually why: the owner can turn it on under Settings › Users.
